My Methods

Awareness • Guidance • Motivation • Discovery

Neither magical nor mystical, hypnosis is a state of relaxation and focus, similar to meditation. The increased inner awareness of being in a hypnotic state allows you to clearly explore the most powerful part of your mind that influences behavior.  Hypnosis is a tool for self-discovery.

  • Discover the root cause of negative behaviors – Old coping habits that may have once provided a crutch in the past could today be hindering your motivation and personal development.
  • Rewire how you think – Hypnosis allows you to be at relaxed and open to new and creative ways of viewing life. Once you shed unproductive concepts and beliefs, you can get past your fears and develop a more positive outlook on life.
  • Stay on track– Ongoing self-discovery and self-improvement can fine-tune your ability to make choices that feel right.
  • Take time out to unwind – Sometimes it’s important to manage your stress by taking time to pause. You pause to find that quiet place within you. The place where your worries dissolve and you can feel peace and calm for a moment.

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy

It is truly amazing how much information is stored in the mind and out of our conscious awareness. The goal of HEART-CENTERED Hypnotherapy is to access the suppressed or repressed information so that it no longer causes behavior that seems to come out of nowhere. Often we have patterns that we don’t understand or coping mechanisms that we have been using for years, but no longer need or are good for us. These may be attached to emotions of which we are not aware. Accessing these emotions and the reasons for our recurring patterns allows us to release ‘locked in’ feelings and make new decisions for moving forward.  Not only can we release the pain from the past, but we can also heal it and replace it with positive feelings and behaviors.

HEART-CENTERED Hypnotherapy focuses on healing; it’s unique and is key towards personal progress and success. This method was developed by Diane Zimbernoff of the Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington. She is dedicated to educating HEALERS about this powerful method of HEART-CENTERED Hypnotherapy. Having trained in HEART-CENTERED  Hypnotherapy, I am proud to share Diane’s vision.

Mind/Body Connection

Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act. This is often called the “mind/body connection.”  When you are stressed, anxious or upset, your body tries to tell you that something isn’t right.

Sometimes, you  hold onto old emotions in your body which cause dis-ease. It is amazing but your body has all the answers when you actually take the time to listen.  When you gain self-understanding it leads you towards developing and strengthening your resilience to life’s challenges.

Meditative Inquiry and Visualization

The practice of meditation is about paying attention. There are many techniques and practices but they all lead to the same thing–taking a moment to pay attention to your breathing. The practice of mediation helps you to realign yourself to the present moment.
When you pay attention to the present moment, you are able to live a more satisfied life.

Many of the moments you live, are spent in mindless chatter, either you are fretting about the future outcome, judging yourself or you are reliving your past
feelings over and over again, so, you need to take time to pause.

Mindfulness Meditation

Provides You With Ways:

  • to manage and reduce stress
  • optimize your health and wellbeing
  • access your inner resources
  • give you clarity of mind
  • reduce your anxiety and worry, decrease anger
  • increase self-awareness and self-acceptance
  • develop friendly compassion or lovingkindness for yourself and others

Quantum Focus

Quantum Focus Coaching helps you to get unstuck. When you keep repeating bad habits or bad choices you feel cornered. Quantum Focusing wakes you up to realize there are different choices to make in order to find your way out.

Quantum Focusing is unique in that it focuses the power of your subconscious mind which is
the part of the mind that so often sabotages the things we want. Synchronization of the conscious and subconscious minds reinforces each other and works in harmony instead of against one another.

C.O.R.E. Counseling

The goal is to consciously create your own success and to develop a lifestyle that brings us joy.  If we want to experience more in life, we have to take ownership and responsibility for ALL that is showing up.

The CORE™ concept (Conscious, Ownership, Retrieve, Release, Engage) helps you to reach your goals by actively creating your life. Healing is not about making yourself into something, but in shedding what you are not. It is about shedding the falsehoods and the old reactions that stand between you and what you need in order to create a life that feels good.

The C.O.R.E. approach lies in its ability to help the client become: (C)onscious of the original cause of the problem. (O)wn old limiting beliefs which create destructive reactions and emotions (R)elease/Retreive the pain caused by holding onto destructive personal beliefs and gain back personal internal strengths, creativity and talents. (E)ngage consciously, in a more abundant, healthy, creative and elegant future.

A C.O.R.E. Counselor’s job is to help his/her clients understand why they do what they do, so that they may make more informed and conscious choices in how they create and allow their reality.

NLP Techniques

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming: “neuro” referring to the mind and how we think. “Linguistic” is referring to language: both verbal and non verbal-it is how we use our language and how it affects us. “Programming” refers to the human ability to organize knowledge and experiences in order to achieve our goals.

NLP is the art of changing in order to create a more successful outcome. People respond according to their senses, beliefs and past experiences. The content of our internal picture makes our map of the world, it’s the way each person experiences it, not necessarily reality itself.

Hypno-Behavioral Coaching

Hypno-Behavioral Coaching is a combination of hypnosis & NLP techniques that can help you shift your attitudes, repair your self-esteem and align you with your strengths.
Hypno-Behavioral Coaching helps you to assess your current behaviors. Uncover the cause of destructive behaviors or reactions. What was once a helpful way of coping may no longer be beneficial to you. With new awareness it makes it easier to make the changes.

With hypno-behavioral sessions you can device a new plan of action or ways of thinking. Different choices will help guide you towards creating a life that feels good.

Grief/Life Transition Coaching

Grief or loss is about a broken heart and letting go. While death and divorce are obvious losses, many stages in our life produce grief. Loss comes in many forms: moving, starting school or graduating, marriage or starting a new family, health changes, retirement, financial changes-positive or negative, legal problems, empty nesting, the marriage of a child…. The list goes on but what I do for my clients is help them deal effectively with their loss.

In the simplest terms, coaching is a personal self-learning/understanding process focused on meeting your goals for self-satisfaction. Together we identify what motivates and fulfills you, what limits you, and what steps are needed to lead you towards creating a life that feels good.
